REACTION | Dean After Halifax Stalemate

Manager Dean Keates was naturally disappointed after seeing his side record another draw from a winning position, as Halifax levelled up Scott Boden's early strike.

"In the first 20/25 minutes, we played well, moved the ball well, were bright and worked it from side to side, then scored a great goal," he said.

"It was the opposite to Tranmere Rovers, when their goal gave us a kick start; this time we got a little bit complacent, if I'm being honest.

"We let their extra players in midfield have too much time on the ball.

"We dropped too deep; we were at home and 1-0 up, we should have scored a few more.

"Full credit to Halifax but we need to look at ourselves first and foremost."
