Manager Dean Keates was a much happier man after seeing his side record three points on their travels and dealing with an emontional atmosphere at Victoria Park.
"We drove home to the players that we had to be ruthless today," said the boss.
"Some of our lads know their players, I know Craig Harrison myself, and Carl Darlington worked with him for our a long time, it's not a nice situation but we were here on business and it was about three points for Wrexham AFC.
"Scott Quigley did really well and had another chance on half time, but he had more time than he thought and snatched at it a little bit.
"Obviously in the second half he gets two goals.
"The first was about himself, what he's about, he strikes it well with either foot.
"The second was great play the way we broke. Scotty Boden could have taken it himself, but he was unselfish.
"The all round performance of the team, I thought, we were outstainding."
