Wrexham AFC realises how difficult 2020 has been for supporters who dedicate their weekend's and Tuesday night's following the club up and down the country.
However, we have been contacted by Weymouth Football Club who have flagged a number of Wrexham supporters purchasing tickets for our match on Tuesday via their online ticketing system.
As things stand, away supporters are not permitted to attend matches and this includes the Vanarama National League, meaning Wrexham fans are not able to attend our away games at this point in time.
We realise that this is frustrating but we ask those looking to gain entry to this Tuesday's game at Weymouth and all away fixtures in the near-future to stay at home. We have been advised that any away supporters attempting to enter the Bob Lucas Stadium or who are found within the ground will be asked to leave.
Supporters who have already booked tickets have had their orders cancelled by the ticket office at Weymouth, but we have also been informed that supporters who arrive at the ground will not be issued refunds and refused admission.
We thank all Wrexham fans during this really difficult period of being unable to watch their team live both now and over the previous nine months, and offer our heartfelt appreciation in keeping to the current guidelines.
Up the Town.
