Wrexham AFC are delighted to announce the signing of defender Fiacre Kelleher on a one-year deal, after he left Macclesfield Town.
Cork-born centre-back Kelleher, 24, is a product of the Celtic academy, and moved to England in 2017 to sign for Oxford United.
He was loaned to Solihull Moors in his first season and Macclesfield Town the following year – before joining Macc permanently last season.
After captaining the side last season, he left following their relegation last month and has now signed a one-year contract at the Racecourse.
He was at the club to watch his new team-mates in pre-season action on Saturday and said of the switch: “I’m delighted. I’m really positive about coming here.
“I spoke to the manager and I had a really good chat. I know a lot of the lads here already, I’ve played with a lot of them so I know the calibre of the squad.
“I’m finally getting back to playing football now, and I can get my head down and get back to what I enjoy doing.”
