Wrexham AFC are delighted to confirm that James Jennings has signed a new deal.
The left-back who has just signed a new one-year deal at the Racecourse joined from Cheltenham Town in January 2017 before making the move permanent the following summer.
Known for his uncompromising style of defending and energetic overlapping full-back play, James has since made 93 appearances for the Dragons including 43 games last season chipping in with a host of assists and six goals.
The Manchester based player who has experienced promotion from the National League with Mansfield Town is a firm fans favourite and would have liked to signed his paperwork earlier, but he was given more time following a family bereavement.
On signing the paperwork James said: “I’m delighted to be back. I’m really happy that the manager wanted me to come back for my fourth season at the club.
“We can now build on what we achieved last season with the lads that are staying and some new additions. It’s still raw, but I’ve had some time to reflect on it and we weren’t too far off.
“Next season we have to aim to go one step further now, it’s unfinished business for most of us, hopefully I can play my part in gaining what we all want for the club.”
