Wrexham Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of winger Jordan Maguire-Drew on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on the deal this evening after completing a medical.
Jordan joins us from Brighton after a successful loan at Dagenham & Redbridge during the 2016-17 season where he scored 14 times.
Since he has had spells at Lincoln City and Coventry City before joining up with Wrexham AFC for the 2018-19 season.
Jordan told wrexhamafc.co.uk: “It’s Brilliant to get my move to Wrexham done now and I’m really looking forward to getting started.
“I can’t wait to get training with the boys and I’m really looking forward to Saturday’s game at Dover.”
He added: “I played for Dagenham in this league two years ago, I know what it takes and I know what it’s all about, I’m looking to carry on from where I left off.
“I like to create things on the pitch and get the crowd on their feet. I finished in the play-offs with Dagenham and I’m looking to go one better now here at Wrexham.”
Manager Sam Ricketts said: “I identified Jordan as a target early on and we’ve all worked hard to get this deal over the line, so I’m delighted he’s here.
He added: “He adds some more pace from wide areas and he knows where the goal is. We are looking for more of an attacking threat and I believe Jordan will contribute to that.”
