Traffic Management and Road Closures:

These are the road closures that will be implemented on match days, three hours before kick-off and for one hour after the match.

Areas affected:
North - at Stoneham Lane (old) junction with Stoneham Lane (Concorde Club)
South - north of its junction with Wellington Park

Traffic Routes – During road closures, the stadium is situated within close proximity of Junction 5, M27 motorway. Traffic signage will be available on all direct routes to the venue from the motorway junction roundabout.

Traffic will arrive through the existing road network from the South. No vehicles will be able to enter from the North once the closure is in place.

Spectator vehicles approaching from the north via Chestnut Avenue and then onto Stoneham Lane, heading towards the M27, will be directed to turn right into Stoneham Park for car parking. Pedestrian access to the ground can be gained from this area. It is expected that the majority of vehicles will approach from the south.

Coaches, parking permit holder’s, staff and VIPs / taxi vehicles will gain access to the site by travelling from the South of Stoneham Lane to the Ground where spaces will be allocated for parking of these vehicles only.  On leaving the stadium car park, there will be no right turn for a one-hour duration post-match.

Information for Pedestrians:

A new dedicated pedestrian entrance and exit can be accessed off Stoneham Lane (North entry point) within the road closure, this new access segregates pedestrians from the vehicles accessing and leaving the stadium car park.
