The BBC lead their Wrexham AFC page with Saturday's 1-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge at the Racecourse. 

The National League Website feature Wrexham in their 'Crowd Pleasers' article with 5,366 on hand at the racecourse to watch Saturday's win and Bryan hughes' first game as manager. Chesterfield were next up with 4,523 while 3,297 watched Hartlepool vs Leyton Orient. 

Locally, the leader covered the sad news that club legend Mickey Thomas has stomach cancer. Everyone at Wrexham AFC wishes him all the best with his battle. Meanwhile, they spoke to attacker Bobby Grant who told them he was delighted that Wrexham's substititions had the desired effect vs Dagenham & Redbridge. 

The Daily Post spoke to Saturday's goal scorer Stuart Beavon who told them that Wrexham will need 'cool heads' as they head in to the title chasing run-in. They also spoketo manager Bryan Hughes who hopes to appoint an assistant manager very soon.
