The BBC lead their Wrexham AFC page with the news that top scorer Chris Holroyd has signed a new deal at the club. The striker scored 13 goals during the 2017-18 season after missing matches early and late on due to injury.
The Wrexham AFC Website broke the news that club owners the Wrexham Supporters Trust have added £12,000 in to Build The Budget 2018-19. The article said: "This means making the biggest budget possible available to Sam Ricketts and his staff in the next 4 weeks to finalise our squad with the players who can score the goals to complement the meanest defence in the National league. Our aim is to raise as much as possible by Friday 15th June 2018 so the money is available this transfer window!"
Locally, the Leader wrote an article about the Wales squad training at the Racecourse Ground on Monday, 21st May 2018. Manager Ryan Giggs told them: "This is a thank-you to them and an opportunity for new fans in the north to see the players first-hand. It’ll be a great day at the Racecourse and I hope the fans come to support us. I’m really looking forward to seeing a good turn-out."

The Daily Post took quotes from the Wrexham AFC website which earlier broke the news that the club will play Louletano DC in Portugal during pre-season. The game will be played on Wednesday, 11th July 2018 at the impressive 30,305 seat capacity Estádio Algarve located near the town of Almancil.
