The BBC lead their Wrexham AFC page with our Vanarama National League 1-1 draw at Maidstone United on Saturday afternoon. 

The National League Website carry quotes from manager Sam Ricketts' post match press conference after the 1-1 at Maidstone. The boss said he was pleased with his sides 'fighting spirit' in Kent. 

Kent Online spoke to Maidstone manager Harry Wheeler who said that his side were "near perfect" against Wrexham on Saturday. He also said that the Dragons were the best side that the Stones have played all season. WalesOnline also ran a report about the game.  

Earlier in the week BT Sport said that the Emirates FA Cup Second Round TV pick of Wrexham vs Newport County was it's headline match. The game will be played at the Racecourse on Saturday, 1st December with an 8pm kick-off. 

Locally, the Daily Post looked at the stats and said that Wrexham's 'midfield is on fire' at the moment while the leader spoke to Akil Wright who say's it's 'business as usual' at Wrexham amid the FA Cup exploits.
