The BBC lead their Wrexham AFC page with the 2-2 draw on Saturday against Aldershot Town and the loan signing of Simon Ainge from Harrogate Town.

The National League Website have a story about the most effective strike partnerships in all three National League divisions. New signing Simon Ainge features from his time at Harroagte Town where he amassed 27 goals with partner Joe Leesley. Also, they have an article about Saturday's top end of the table encounter with Aldershot Town which they describe as "a fantastic advert for the competition".

The Harrogate Advertiser spoke to Harrogate Town manager Steve Weaver who explained: “Aingey and his agent were both adamant that he needs to be playing games, so this is a great opportunity for the lad. I wanted to give him a rest after the Billericay games and Dom Knowles and Mark Beck have been brilliant and deserve to keep their places.I’m not going to change the side when we’re doing so well, so as a player you have to either wait for your chance again or ask for a move.To be fair to Aingey, I was exactly the same as a player. If I was out of the team I was immediately looking at my options."

Locally, the Leader have spoken to manager Dean Keates who has challenged those players not under contract for next season to earn a new deal at the Racecourse. He also said that he is currently holding talks with one player who he hopes will commit to the club after extending Sam Wedgbury's stay in North Wales last week.

The Daily Post picked up on a S4C interview with one time Wrexham coach and home town man Adam Owen. He is currently at the helm of Lechia Gdansk in Poland but say's he is committed to his role as fitness coach with the Welsh National side - providing new manager Ryan Giggs wants to retain his services. In Wrexham AFC news they have spoken with Simon Ainge who says his new club can challenge for promotion this season.
