The BBC lead their Wrexham AFC page with the 0-2 win at Guiseley on Saturday and also cover the signing of attacker Jonathan Franks until the end of the season. The BBC say that Wrexham have "bolstered their promotion push" with the signing of the player who was formally at Hartlepool United.
The National League Website have ran an article about this season's top-scorers. Wrexham's Chris Holroyd currently sits 3rd top-scorer in the division with 13 goals - just 3 behind AFC Fylde's Danny Rowe who tops the table currently. The National League Say: "Will we see a striker come from nowhere to win it? Wrexham forward Chris Holroyd and Andy Cook, of Tranmere Rovers, are in fine form."
Locally, the Leader spoke to new signing Franks who said he is looking to make his mark while at Wrexham AFC. He said: “Hopefully between now and the end of the season we can achieve something really good here." They also spoke to Racecourse boss Dean Keates who said that he has opened contract talks with several key players that have deals ending at the end of the season.
The Daily Post have also spoken to Franks who told them he is looking to make an impact at Wrexham AFC straight away. They cover Saturday's Autism Friendly match against FC Halifax Town. They also spoke to Keates who said he is "delighted" to bolster his attacking options for the run-in.
