A product of the prestigious youth academy at Liverpool, David Raven signed for the Dragons during the January transfer window in 2018

Raven made his senior debut in 2004 during the League Cup Quarter-Final victory over Tottenham Hotspur, where he earned the man of the match.

He went on to make a futher two appearances in an FA Cup against Burnley and in the Premier League against Southampton.

He eventually moved out to Tranmere Rovers on loan during the 2005/06 season and made a permanent move to Carlisle United where he stayed for four years making over 150 appearances for the Cumbrians.

After a year with Shrewsbury Town and then Tranmere once more, he headed north to the Scottish Highlands, joining Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

In five years he made 188 appearances and scored the winning goal in extra-time for Caley Thistle in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final against Celtic, a competition that they’d go on to win in 2015.

In January 2018 with Inverness now playing in the Scottish Championship, he joined former team mate Scott Boden at the Racecourse, making his debut in a sold out 2-2 draw with former club Tranmere, coming on off the bench after just three minutes to replace injured James Jennings.
