Jordan Maguire-Drew joined Wrexham in August 2018 on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion

The Crawley-born winger joined Brighton’s youth academy and progressed through the youth ranks before heading out on loan whilst still in the under-18’s.

His first step was signing with Isthmian League side Worthing where in his first six matches in senior football grabbed an impressive eight goals.

After returning to the Amex in 2016 he signed his first professional deal with the Seagulls. That summer he joined Dagenham & Redbridge on a season-long loan deal in the National League, playing a huge part in the side’s success in reaching the play-offs.

Maguire-Drew’s Daggers debut came on the opening day of the 2016/17 campaign against Southport where he scored in a 3-0 victory over Southport.

He made a total of 48 appearances scoring 16 goals, including one in the National League Playoff Semi-Final against eventual winners Forest Green Rovers.

He joined Lincoln City on loan in the summer of 2017 and made a total of 14 appearances scoring twice, before joining fellow League Two side Coventry City in January 2018.

He made his Sky Blues debut in the FA Cup against then Premier League side Stoke City where he made an immediate impact to cause a real cup shock.

He was brought on in the 63rd minute and five minute later delivered a corner which was put away by Jack Grimmer, to stun Stoke and progress through to the fourth round.

However, after a further four appearances his time was cut short through injury where he headed back south to his parent club.

In the summer of 2018 he was snapped on for the season by Wrexham boss Sam Ricketts days before the opening day of the National League campaign.
