Winger Marcus Kelly was snapped up by Wrexham in the June 2017 having achieved promotion with Forest Green Rovers.

He began life with Rushden & Diamonds in the youth team and signed his first professional contract in 2004. Over five years with the Diamonds he made over 150 league appearances before departing for Oxford United in 2009.
He made just three appearances with the O’s and was loaned out to hometown club Kettering.
He signed permanently with Kettering in 2010 spending two years at Latimer Park and making 84 league appearances, After a brief spell with Mansfield Town on loan, he joined Tamworth for a season before being snapped up by Forest Green Rovers.
Kelly made over 100 Rovers appearances scoring 11 goals and achieving promotion to the Football League before he departed the club.
He was quickly moved in for by Wrexham signing a one-year deal.
