The Swansea-born forward began his career in the Welsh capital with the Bluebirds, signing professional terms in December 2016, and going on to make his debut shortly after his 18th birthday a month later.
His first game was as a substitute in a 2-1 FA Cup exit to Fulham at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Harris’ Championship debut came in April 2017 playing 57 minutes in a 0-0 draw away to Wigan Athletic, before making an appearance off the bench in a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
In the summer of 2018 Harris moved out on loan, making the short hop over to Newport County in League Two. His debut came on the opening day of the campaign in a 1-0 win over Crewe Alexandra.
In his second Exiles outing he opened his senior footballing account scoring in a 1-1 away draw to Exeter City.
In a real purple patch for the Welshman he went on to score in a 3-2 victory over Notts County three days later.
After three goals for County his loan expired and he opted to join Port Vale on loan making six appearances before being recalled to the Cardiff City Stadium.
In the summer of 2019 Harris was targetted by Wrexham and snapped up on a season-long deal.
