Former Wales youth international Erin Lovett returned to Wrexham in 2021 having previously been part of the Club’s title-winning Under-16s team in 2018.

With no pathway in place at Wrexham at the time, Lovett moved into English football and was with Crewe Alexandra before returning to Wales to her childhood team when the Club earned a Welsh Tier 2 License.

After a difficult start, which included the teenage defender receiving a red card in Mari Edwards’ last game in charge, Lovett has grown into an integral part of the Wrexham defence.

Capable of playing anywhere across the back four, Lovett made 19 appearances in all competitions in 2022/23, and was named Players’ Player of the Season.

She was subsequently awarded a semi-professional contract in the summer ahead of the Club’s inaugural Genero Adran Premier campaign.
