Former Wales international Hannah Keryakoplis returned to North Wales as a marquee signing for the Club in the summer of 2023 ahead of their debut Genero Adran Premier season.

Keryakoplis, the great-granddaughter of Wrexham and Wales player Tommy Gardner, grew up in Penyffordd where she played alongside future Wales international Tom Lawrence.

With Lawrence scouted by Manchester United while playing for their junior team, Keryakoplis was recommended to Tranmere Rovers by the same scouts.

From there she moved to Liverpool, where she played for the Club in the Women’s Super League, and she remained in the women’s top flight when she joined Birmingham City in 2014.

Previously capped by Wales at Under-17 and Under-19 level, Keryakoplis made her senior international debut in October 2011 and has scored three times in 20 international appearances.

After leaving Birmingham, she enjoyed prolific spells with Stoke City and Derby County before her move to Wrexham in 2023.

Despite picking up an injury in pre-season, she stepped off the bench to make her debut on the opening day of the 2023/24 Genero Adran Premier season and scored Wrexham’s third goal in the 3-3 draw with Swansea.
