Date of birth
Attacking midfielder Libby Mackenzie returned to Wrexham in 2021, alongside Erin Lovett – the duo having been part of the Club’s title-winning Under-16 team three years earlier.
Mackenzie had previously played for - and scored for - the women's senior team while still registered as an Under-16s player, netting in a friendly at The Rock against a touring US Women side in 2018.
Mackenzie arrived back with a reputation for long-range goals at youth level and, having moved south to play in the FAW Academy, the Wales youth international also had previous top flight experience – playing and scoring for Cyncoed in the Welsh Women’s Premier League.
A diminutive attacking player, capable of playing in a range of attacking roles, Mackenzie scored 11 goals in 42 games across the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
She was subsequently retained by Wrexham for the 2023/24 season.
