Wrexham AFC confirmed the signing of Jacob Mendy on a three-year deal on August 1, 2022.
The 25-year-old - who can operate in a number of positions - joined from Boreham Wood for an undisclosed fee, becoming the Red Dragons’ sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
Mendy spent time with the Atletico Madrid academy as a youngster before moving to the UK, and has since had spells in non-league football with Carshalton Athletic and Wealdstone.
He spent the 2021/22 season at Boreham Wood, helping Luke Garrard’s side to a ninth-placed finish in the Vanarama National League, and a memorable run in the Emirates FA Cup.
Mendy arrived at the STōK Cae Ras and has since established himself in the side, appearing 30 times in the National League during the 2022/23 season.
