`Former Scotland international Steven Fletcher joined Wrexham AFC as the final addition to Phil Parkinson's squad in the summer of 2023.

He joined after the transfer window concluded on a free transfer, adding a wealth of experience to the squad. 

After representing club and country at the very highest level, Fletcher's arrival would only bolster the attacking options at the Club. 

The Scotsman, began his career at Hibernian, where he played over 150 times in a successful five year spell for the fledelging forward. 

His time in Scotland earnt him a move to Burnley, which resulted in a transfer the following season to the top flight of English football. 

Fletcher then scored more than forty goals for both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sunderland, with a brief loan spell at Marseille. 

The striker moved into the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City, before joining Dundee United.

At the end of his contract in Scotland, Fletcher made the move back across the border and to the STōK Cae Ras, keeping him in North Wales until the summer of 2025.
