He made his senior debut whilst out on loan with Warrington Town for a month before returning to Gigg Lane. In the summer of 2013, Dibble switched to Barnsley on a one-year deal with the option to extend.
Whilst with the Tykes, Dibble joined Nuneaton Town on loan before switching to Chelmsford City in the National League South. In the summer of 2016, Dibble signed for National League North side Boston United before joining Nuneaton Town after just two months with the Pilgrims.
In April 2017 Dibble joined Chorley on a seven-day emergency loan, making his debut in a league game against Gloucester City, the first of his two matches with the Magpies.
In 2017 he signed a one-year contract with Wrexham under manager Dean Keates.
Dibble’s first season was spent as back-up to Chris Dunn but he would make five appearances for the Dragons in 2017/18.
He made his debut as a late addition to the starting line-up away to Maidstone United in August 2017, saving a penalty in a 2-1 defeat at the Gallagher Stadium.
In his next four appearances, Dibble kept four clean sheets and would go on to save another penalty against Bromley whilst impressing with a string of superb stops to deny the opposition. However, the keeper picked up a back injury which saw him fall out of the side.
In the summer of 2018 he was offered a new 2-year deal and would compete with Rob Lainton for the number one shirt. Lainton would keep the starting job with Dibble making just two appearances during the 2018/19 season.
The next year saw him increase playing time, making 17 appearances during injury spells for Lainton. At the end of the season - which ended early due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus - Dibble extended his deal at the club by a further 12 months.
In 2020/21, Dibble made another 19 appearances, keeping eight clean sheets in the process including a run of five clean sheets in seven games at the turn of the year. Dibble signed a 2-year deal with the club in the summer of 2021 keeping him at the Racecourse until the summer of 2023, and making him the club's longest serving player.
