Irish goalkeeper Luke McNicholas signed for Wrexham AFC on a two and a half year deal, keeping him with the Club until the summer of 2026.
The young stopper joined the Club on a short term loan deal in August 2023, and after impressing, his stay became a permenant one earlier this transfer window.
He has made three appearances for the Red Dragons so far this season, all coming in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
On debut, he kept a clean sheet against Crewe Alexandra, and made two further starts in the competition versus Port Vale and Burton Albion.
Prior to joining the Red Dragons, McNicholas started his career with Sligo Rovers, before a season long loan at Cliftonville.
His performances during the loan spell helped establish himself as the number one at Rovers, before catching the eye of Phil Parkinson.
