Wrexham AFC Academy product Owen Cushion signed his first professional contract with the Club in the summer of 2023.
The 18-year-old midfielder played a key part in the youth team’s National League Youth Alliance success during the 2022/23 season, where they also reached the FAW Youth Cup semi-finals.
Cushion also made first-team appearances during pre-season, while being a part of the matchday squad in the FA Trophy game against Altrincham last season.
Over the course of the season, Cushion would go on to make 19 appearances in the Youth Alliance, whilst also registering five goals in the competition.
His initial deal at the STōK Cae Ras will run until the end of the 2023/24 season, with the option of an extension for an additional year.
The young midfielder continued to develop in the Academy and Reserve side, before making his professional debut against Burton Albion in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
To further his development in senior football, Cushion joined fellow Academy graduate Dan Davies on loan at Colwyn Bay.
