Veteran midfielder David Jones signed as player-coach at Wrexham for the 2021/22 season, completing a full career circle.
Jones had played for Wrexham as a nine-year-old in the Centre of Excellence but left to join Manchester United, where he broke through the Academy.
The midfielder, who earned one England Under-21 cap, moved to Derby County after a successful loan spell - earning the first of four promotions to the Premier League with the Rams.
He went on to make more than 100 top-flight appearances, across spells with Derby, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Burnley.
He later had spells with Sheffield Wednesday and Oldham Athletic, before spending the summer ahead of the 2021/22 season on trial with Wrexham. After appearing in central midfield and centre-back during the summer, he signed a permanent deal - as player-coach - ahead of the opening game.
