Wrexham AFC Women’s teenage star Lili Jones earned two more international caps, playing both games for Wales Under-17s caps in their back-to-back matches against Scotland.
Jones made her Wrexham AFC Women debut this year, just days after her 16th birthday, and has established herself as a first-team player for her childhood team – playing a key role in the league leaders’ unbeaten run under Steve Dale.
Also a star of the Under-19s set-up, her ten goals in five games at that level has propelled Gareth Owen’s team to the top of the table.
Involved in the Wales Under-17s set-up once again, Jones started the first match against Scotland – a defeat at Denbigh on Tuesday, and then appeared off the bench in Friday’s win at Colliers Park.
All at Wrexham AFC would like to congratulate Lili on her latest international honours.
