We can now confirm that our Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against Shrewsbury Town will take place on Sunday January 7 at 2pm GMT and will be broadcast live on S4C.
It will be the third time the Red Dragons are in front of the cameras in the competition after defeating Mansfield Town in the First Round and later knocking Yeovil Town out in the Second Round.
Phil Parkinson’s side ran out 3-0 winners at the STōK Cae Ras, with Ollie Palmer, Andy Cannon and Sam Dalby all on the scoresheet to secure a place in the Third Round.
It is the first competitive meeting between the two sides in more than 15 years – with the Red Dragons travelling to Croud Meadow with a place in the Fourth Round of the competition on the line.
