Wrexham AFC fell to defeat when hosts Gillingham found the only goal of the match in a closely-fought encounter at Priestfield Stadium.
In what was a strong first-half for the Red Dragons they were unable to find the back of the net – despite efforts of note from both Steven Fletcher and Ryan Barnett.
Instead the decisive blow was landed after the break, when The Gills - from a well-worked free-kick - slotted home through Timothee Dieng on 55 minutes. It meant an end to Wrexham's recent resurgent unbeaten run, returning to North Wales from Kent empty handed.
